DELIGHTED GIRL

as she woke up, there were horses on the porch – she is so happy in love
she couldn`t even eat or drink or sit still for a while – she is so happy in love

she rides the horses through this unknown land, seems she had the time of her life,
but she was kinda sad that we were stuck at the fireside

she gets up really early to see if they‘re out there again – but they‘re gone, on the wild countryside
she is picking the cherries from the crown of the tree – she‘s such a courageous girl

she got to know every corner of the land, seems she had the time of her life,
she is just an delighted girl who wants to see the wild world, the wild world

driving home, leavin‘ miles behind – it‘s a long way, a long way home
