KIND OF-A-NOTHING

i drove a thousand miles on the endless highway now, into the blinding sun
usually i don`t look back but now i do, thinking what went wrong
to be honest there is kind of-a-nothing that‘s really strange

it‘s been the fourth summer in a row, that i wasn`t home – what was going on?
can`t remember anymore what it feels like to be in town, all summer long
now and then i think adventure is what i seek, now and then i think adventure is what i need

sometimes i feel that i‘m pig-headed and getting old, hear me sayin „when i was young“
but i `ve never seen the pyramids or lady liberty, of course this is some of my to-do`s,

but there is more to this story, that i got to tell you folks, but i‘m running out of words
there is more cool stuff, bad stuff, new stuff, dirty stuff – things you wouldn‘t expect my friends
